When developing shoes like we do, tests and analysis are key. It’s an important part of our work and something that we put a lot of time and effort into. Testing and analyzing. We want to see if the shoe we’re working in works in reality. The best environment in which to conduct these tests is the real working environment – where the shoe is to be worn. We have high demands on ourselves, and so do our customers. A shoe must work in practice as well as in theory. Safety and quality are two of our key words. Here we test one of our heat resistant models at a company near Örebro that works with corrosion treatment and zinc galvanization. We wanted to see how the shoe would withstand extremely hot liquid metal, and how warm the shoe would become on the inside – in order to know for sure what a potential accident in an environment like this might look like.
