It’s here – Arbesko’s new catalogue for 2012/2013! Loaded with first class shoes and accessories for working feet.
We are, amongst other things, introducing two new and tough safety shoes you simply have to take a closer look at – Arbesko 416 and 426. Two sleek models in a fresh design, with soft penetration protection, aluminium toe cap, inbuilt shock absorption in the shape of Energy Gel® and ESD function.
We have also taken this opportunity to update our range of sandals. Arbesko 1377, 1387 and 1397 are three light and comfortable models making an entry, with a raised, shock absorbing foot bed to support the arch of the foot.
Our top class ComfOrtho insert, anatomically molded to prevent and relieve common ailments associated with too high or too low an arch has also been improved and is now equipped with ESD function. We are also introducing a third insert – ComfOrtho 10286 – specially molded for extra high arched feet.

A+A is the largest `Safety, Security and Health at work´ fair in the world. It takes place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from the 18th to the 21st of October.
We at Arbesko will be there – as one of the trendsetters in the manufacture of safety and occupational footwear.
We will present several new footwear concepts:

On October 5 to 8 the WorldSkills Competition takes place in London. We at Arbesko are sponsors of the Swedish Skills Team (WorldSkills Sweden) and thus make sure that the team has the best of shoes, so even during the days in London!
The WorldSkills Competition is one of the world’s biggest events. More than 1 000 competitors from more than 50 countries will compete in 45 different professions. By young people measure their strength against each other the professional knowledge increase – so also the exchange between different professions. The goal is to inspire and motivate young people to strive to achieve skills professionalism in world class. During the WorldSkills Competition the Swedish Skills Team is represented by about 30 young people and over 20 professions. From hairdressers, painters, landscape gardeners to plumbers and car painters.
Arbesko will of course be at the championship in London – London – and we can say that there will be full speed at WorldSkills Swedens stand – where we will be! More information about our activities in London will come later on.
July 31st – August 7th was Classic Car Week in the Swedish town of Rättvik. We packed our camera again and headed to Rättvik to see what visitors at Classic Car week do when they have some excess energy. With the right shoes at work you’ll have energy left over for other things, in this case Arbesko 855.
The film clips, containing everything from tap dancing to back flips with an old Volvo, were published on our Facebook page for people to vote. The winner was Nr 11, Robin whose brave attempts at doing cart wheels got the most votes.
We want to thank all the competitors, and also Statoil who sponsored the event with prizes – generous gift vouchers and engine oil!

Arbesko were there again this year, when the STCC races took place between 9th and 10th of July. This year was not like other years though, it was something very special – as sponsors of “Mattias Ekström Junior Team” we spent the weekend backstage with the DTM champion Mattias Ekström and his Junior Team, which promotes young, promising race drivers. The team, who all wore Arbesko model 350, were represented by two young talents in this year’s race; Dick Sahlén and Roger Eriksson who both drove a Seat Leon. Obviously with the Arbesko logo on the front!

As you may already know, we held a competition during Swedish Youth Skills in Gothenburg where people were asked to dance or in other ways show what it felt like to wear our shoes with Energy Gel. We filmed them and put all the clips on Facebook for people to vote. This turned out to be very popular, as many as 67 people took part! Voting ends on May 31st.
We had just desembled the video camera when more people turned up asking if they could take part, so we started a new competition; ”The Energy Gel Photo Contest” where people put on work clothes, and obviously our shoes, and posed in front of a camera. The photos were also posted on Facebook and voting ends on May 31st.
We would like to thank all the imaginative and enthusiastic young people for a great couple of days in Gothenburg and for all the really cool entries!
